  • Asanas done by raising the legs can also increase the problem of heart patient.
  • Uttanpadasana, Shirshasana, Halasana, Setubandhasana, Padahastasana, Samkonasana, Shashankasana, Paschimottasana Karnapidasana, Surya Namaskar, can be done only under the direction of a specialist, do not do Shalabhasana, Falakasana, Parvatasana.

Heart patients can do these yogasanas

  • This pranayama is beneficial
    Starting from the left side of the nose, one can do Anulom Vilam. Bhramari keeps the mind calm, it can also be done. Chandrabhedi Pranayama is extremely beneficial. Do it regularly. Sheetali and Sheetkari can also be done if there is a problem of high BP. Meditation and practice of mantra on rosary is also effective.
  • Do not forget to do Kapalbhati and Bhastrika
    Kapalbhati Pranayama increases blood pressure, so avoid it. Heart patients should not do Suryabhedi Pranayama. Bhashtrika Pranayama can also be harmful.

Apart from practicing yoga, take care of eating and drinking

Practice of yoga is very important, apart from this, it is also necessary to take care of food and drink. Avoid foods that increase cholesterol and are high in calories. Take a high-fiber diet. Make sure to use garlic, ginger, turmeric and beetroot, all these things are effective in thinning the blood of the heart patient. This reduces the risk of heart problems in the future.
