Materials needed

  • 1 cup of tap water or distilled water
  • A pan
  • 1/2 teaspoon non-iodized salt
  • 1/4th teaspoon baking soda(optional)
  • Dropper

Instructions

  1. Pour the water into the saucepan. Allow water to boil for 10 minutes to make it free from germs/contamination.
  2. Add salt and baking soda and mix it. Make sure that salt and soda are completely dissolved in water. 
  3. Let the solution cool completely.
  4. Transfer the solution to a sterile glass bottle.
  5. Use a sterile dropper to administer the solution

Use the saline water from the solution prepared and transfer the remaining solution to a clean jar. Store it for no more than 24 hours. The solution recommends being discarded after 24 hours.
