National Unity Day –  Every citizen should feel equal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that an India where every citizen of the country like Dalit, deprived, tribal, forest dweller should feel equal. An India where there is no discrimination, everyone should have equal rights.

Our cooperative organization should also strengthen small farmers. You will be able to create a new faith far and wide. Even the smallest act is great if there is a good spirit behind it.

He further said that the ideals that cherish national unity have been given a new height. National Unity Day –  Birth Anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Patel

Today (Sunday) the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is being celebrated across the country. On the occasion of National Unity Day, a grand ceremony is being held at the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue.

Home Minister Amit Shah attended the program and paid tribute to Sardar Patel. Unity Day Parade organize in the Unity Day celebrations. Policemen from all the states participated in this parade.

Along with this, CISF and BSF personnel also participated in the parade. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address the ceremony through a recorded message.

In Kevadiya, Amit Shah said that the tradition which PM Modi of our country has started today. We are taking forward the birthday of our Iron Man as the festival of National Unity Day. After independence, Sardar Sahib took the oath of a united India, thwarting what the British had tried to break into pieces.

The Union Home Minister further said that our struggle for independence from 1857 to 1947, thousands of lakhs of people sacrificed everything. The inspiration given by Sardar Sahib has done the work of keeping the country one. Today this idol touching the sky is inspiring the whole world.

He further said that only one Sardar becomes a Sardar in centuries. We are building the India of Sardar Patel’s dreams. Modi government has done very well in last 7 years. We honored Sardar Patel with Bharat Ratna.

This year,  Home Minister Amit Shah is joining the unity parade on the occasion of Ekta Diwas. Many leaders including Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel also participated in the unity parade.

It is worth noting that only after the formation of the Statue of Unity, the Modi government had announced to celebrate Patel Jayanti as National Unity Day.

The country will always remember the contribution of Sardar Patel, the architect of New India. On the strength of strong will and morale, Sardar Patel did such a difficult task of uniting independent India, which was unimaginable.
